On a beautiful September day I drove to Duluth to capture Nick and Nikki’s wedding day. I was so excited for this day because I knew it was going to be full of love laughter and a ton of FUN! I met Nick and Nikki in Duluth for their engagement session the fall before their wedding. They had met in college at St. Scholastica so it was only fitting they get married in the City where they fell in love.

About 3 seconds after walking into the hotel room where Nikki was getting ready, I knew it was going to be a very special day. Surrounded by a group of her very close friends, they got ready together. It started out a rainy day. A rainy and very windy day. I knew that Nikki wanted to be outdoors for her photos so I was determined and anxious to make that happen for her. After making it through the first look with her dad and soon to be husband Nick, the weather started cooperating. As you can see it turned out to be a beautiful day. Just in time too.

The ceremony was stunning. Also, have gone to school in Duluth at UMD I love spending time there. Being able to capture a stunning ceremony looking out over lake superior was an absolute dream come true. Everything went perfect and finally, Nick and Nikki were married.

Following the ceremony there was a party bus, food, drinks and lots of dancing. Nick and Nikki congratulations on a beautiful day and I wish you a life full of happiness.
